Went back to work this morning and went to login to my PC and I was greeted with the slow man's version of Windows login.  After 20-30 minutes, I was at the "Loading your personal settings" box. Couldn't get any further. Evidently, the PC knew I spent all last week with my MacBook, and it wasn't happy. I was happy - very happy.  Battery life was great.  It booted quickly and login was even quicker. Typing is easy, and everything worked.  But the hard drive on the PC wasn't happy and so had started to go bad (actually it started before I left, but sitting idle all week evidently was too much).  So a new PC will arrive tomorrow and I'll spend the day getting everything I need installed.  Luckily, I was able to get the drive setup as a secondary drive on another PC and got the stuff I really need copied off.  Everything but my Firefox profile - crashed Explorer everytime I tried to copy it. I'll have to try another way to get my bookmarks from that drive.
