Thats what I want to know as well. Tried to run with or without. But tbh I don't see any difference in the front end mail template of the client !! ( I mean errors and so)
Ofcourse The soft Deletion view doesn't show any deleted documents anymore.
I don't get the point being made in the technote can anyone clarify this one ?

I guess my initial post was meant as a (very) obtuse jabe at the technote. There's really not enought information in that document for it to be called a "technote" in my opinion.
I've got an idea about what they might have meant, but I'm testing it out right now, and once I figure it out, I'll re-post with an update. I don't think there will be errors, as Sjaak mentioned, I believe the issue would be classified as an annoyance, or maybe a minor "bug" depending on your point of view.
